INRIGHT LATCH SYSTEM

The Safest Gate Ever: Inright Latch System

Whether you have a newborn or an older child, installing your child’s car seat correctly is one of the most important safety steps. It is easy to forget, but having a safe ride home in the event of an accident should be your number one priority when making this decision.

We created this system because we wanted to make sure that your child can never get caught on or hung on this gate. The solution is an inright latch system, which means the latch is hidden away so kids cannot reach it. This latch is also self-closing and self-locking, so you don’t have to worry about whether you locked the gate closed.

It can be overwhelming for new parents to pick a car seat that meets their specific needs. The InRight LATCH system uses a simple, secure design to make installing your car seat quick and easy.

After messing with a Graco car seat for about half an hour, I am convinced that it was created by a sadistic engineer. And as a parent, it’s a bit unnerving to think that we’re supposed to pin down a screaming child in this thing. So we’re going to make this as simple as possible and make it quick so you can have your kid buckled up and be on your way home.

The first step is making sure you have the LATCH system. The LATCH system is more secure than a regular car seat because of what looks to be tiny pieces of elastic. It keeps the car seat in place along with the horizontal slide where the regular seat belt would have difficulty keeping it there.

Suggestions:

We ordered a car seat online back when my daughter was 4 months old. To be honest, I didn’t research too much into it thinking it was just as safe as the other car seats on the market. But was I wrong! The car seat finally came in and I put her in it for a ride with my husband. We were about to leave when I decided to push the chest clip down a bit more and tighten it.

When we arrived home I noticed that she had marks around her neck from the clip being too loose. Now even though car seats are meant to be loose for safety reasons, you definitely want to make sure that it’s not loose enough to cause marks on your child’s body.
